Post Malone’s Country Adventure Continues With Two Hot Tracks and Exciting New Album

Post Malone, an artist we know and love for his presence in rap and hip hop, makes his exciting debut in the world of country music.

Post Malone released a new track back in May this year, “I Had Some Help”, in collaboration with country music artist, Morgan Wallen.  We get to hear a different kind of twangy voice from Malone where he takes on the heart and soul of country music after being so used to him as a rapper and hip-hop artist, who occasionally releases pop songs, as well.

An Unexpected Duo: Post Malone and Morgan Wallen

The single took the Number 1 spot on Billboard Hot 100 Chart for a total of five weeks before being knocked down to Number 2.  However, “I Had Some Help” was able to reclaim its spot at Number 1 on the sixth week after its debut, making it the longest runner for the chart’s top spot in 2024 so far.  The single has even made it to Number 1 on Billboard’s Radio Songs Chart.

Post Malone has announced his new album that will be released on August 16 this year, naming it “F-1 Trillion”.  The album will have a total of a whopping 18 tracks, two of which we know for sure will feature country music artists, Morgan Wallen and Blake Shelton.

These two singles, “I Had Some Help” and “Pour Me a Drink” with Shelton, have already been released, giving fans a snippet of what the album will be.

Fans can expect that this album will continue to showcase Malone’s integration into country music.  However, we might also get to hear Malone let his original style shine through this country music a little, hopefully giving us a new vibe for summer 2024 that other artists aren’t doing.

Post Malone Takes Country Music Seriously

Post Malone dropped his official music video for “I Had Some Help”, showing just how serious he is taking his country music debut.  Malone, with his signature face tattoos and grill, dresses in a rural style with cowboy boots in a western-style bar.

…. This country song ain’t no joke.

Range and Versatility

Post Malone has been very vocal about the type of artist that he wants to be seen as in the music industry.  Although Malone has released countless rap and hip-hop songs, he has made it clear that he does not label himself as a rapper, especially now that he has been able to showcase the range of music genres that he can cover.

We’ve seen Post Malone do rap, hip-hop, pop, R&B, trap, and now country, making him one of the most versatile artists that we have seen in a long time.

Going on Tour

Post Malone is even set to go on tour this upcoming September and October after his new album releases in August, showing his dedication to this genre-switch even more.  The end of the tour will conclude in October in the infamous Nashville, sealing the deal for Malone as a new country music artist.

Make sure to stream Post Malone’s new singles, “I Had Some Help” and “Pour Me a Drink”, and watch out for his album release next month, “F-1 Trillion”.
