Pittsburgh veteran Franchise has been one of the city’s most well-known artists for the better half of a decade now. Outside of Pitt people may recognize him for being apart of Mac Miller’s crew The Most Dope Family.’ Franchise and his partner Vinny Radio were signed to REMember records under the duo, ‘The Come Up’ which have accompanied Mac Miller on multiple big tours.
The Pittsburgh partnership The Come Up would release the second project ever on REMember records, Change of Plans. The 17 track mixtape would feature a cameo from Mac Miller himself. Notable names, KHRYSIS and the legendary 9th Wonder would also lend their production to the release.
No longer a part of the Warner Bros. distributed label, Franchise and The Come Up are still grinding. Not only are the duo grinding together, but Franchise has continued to excel as a solo artist. Most recently with last year’s, Corner The Market. The 16 track project would feature his partner Vinny Radio on the song, ‘Roll Call’. Shod Beatz and Big Jerm produced the track, ‘Donuts’. ‘Donuts’ just recently received the visual treatment. Franchise himself and David Newbury directed the video for the track.

One thing is for sure. There is a lot more to Pittsburgh hip-hop than just Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa. Franchise is making sure we don’t forget that…
