A: “The inspiration for this product came in 2019 after I was arrested for a cannabis-related offense. Shortly after my arrest while still on Rikers Island my mother (a habitual cigarette smoker) passed away from a smoking-related illness. Subsequently, for that charge, I was sentenced to 1 1/2-3 years and sent upstate. This is right before COVID-19 & the passing of the New York State MRTA. While I was in prison the pandemic hit and it caused the world in general to pay more attention to respiratory health. So with going to jail and losing my mother, I was hurt and angry at this time. I knew when I was released I had to do something different, but I just didn’t know what.”
Q: What does the name “Pif Cloudz” represent, and how does it reflect your mission?
A: “It was actually my wife who gave me the idea for PiF Cloudz. She knew I had experience in manufacturing cannabis vapes so she encouraged me to explore cleaner options to the products that caused my mom’s death. With that thought the journey began to create an all-natural, satisfying alternative to traditional nicotine-based smoking products; PiF Cloudz is the result.
