About Andrew Freedman
Andrew Freedman is the first real “Cannabis Sommelier.” His focus on pairing cannabis, beer, cocktail, wine, and gastronomy are completely original. Andrew uses the world’s most familiar intoxicant, alcohol, to help normalize cannabis consumption in social settings. Creating a dialogue and vocabulary similar to wine allows the opportunity to embrace cannabis consumption for different demographics.
“We are literally bringing the conversation of cannabis back to the dinner table”
Andrew Freedman
By combining fine dining, wine and cannabis consumption in a welcoming setting, Andrew is able to curate groundbreaking events helping to normalize cannabis and end its negative stigma. One of the most important factors of ending stigma is making sure cannabis infusions are optional for guests. By creating a fine dining atmosphere in a private setting it gives the opportunity for education to be presented like never before.
Andrew is able to teach what he has learned about cannabis and relate it to the dish and drink in front of you. Using this methodology he is able to more easily translate the flavors and aromas found in cannabis. He then uses the cannabis to elevate the pairing of the dish and drink (craft beer, wine or cocktail).
