When Action Bronson drops a new album, you have to make an event out of it. You can’t just download and listen to it on the way to work like any other album. For his latest release, I decided to make something out of it in true “Fuck That’s Delicious” style. I fired up the microphone with my partner in crime, Tucker Reiley, the other half of Podcast For My Friends, and we recorded an episode. During the recording, we drank THC infused cocktails with the help of Pearl 20. To cap things off, we feasted upon Blue Chips 7000 themed fish and chip sliders.

We really went off the rails with this one. After one drink, we were already starting to slur our words. I only used two ice cubes per drink and the added cannabis effects were noticeable within 20 or so minutes. Most edibles take 30 minutes to an hour to kick in, so the fact that I felt it quickly was a pleasant surprise. I wish I could remember what we talked about, but I can’t. Blue Chips 7000 Was Well Worth The Wait
By the time we started recording, Blue Chips 7000 had already dropped, and we opened up with “Chop Chop Chop.” The smooth blues guitar sends shivers down my spine in this baller-ass nursery rhyme. This is my favorite song on the album.
The rest of the album holds up to Bronson’s standard. Creativity, funk, soul, and originality are all words that come to my mind when I listen to this album. Action has one of the most creative minds in the rap game, every album is different, but still unarguably BRONSON. Blue Chips 7000 was worth the wait and Pearl 2o made the first listen a night to remember.
To cap it off, I made a Blue Chips 7000 themed fish and chips themed slider. I used grilled Alaskan cod for the fish and surrounded it with chopped sweet pickle, mango vinaigrette slaw, and fried crispy potatoes, all on a rosemary and asiago cheese roll.
