PAX Labs, an industry-leading electronic vaporizer company, has announced plans to venture into the cannabis market through THC pods. These 100% cannabis pods will be for use with their PAX Era devices. While many brands have famously utilized PAX pods as chambers for their own oil, with many users already looking to the Era device for consumption, this will be the first official cannabis product from PAX themselves.

As a California-based company, PAX will only be using flower sourced from farms in the Golden State; which will be cold-water extracted into live rosin with natural diamonds, one of the purest forms of cannabis. This extraction method allows the oil to have a full cannabinoid and terpene profile; which offers users the full benefits of the plant and a smoother experience. Steven Jung, COO of PAX, told Cheddar that it is “a first of its kind formulation that offers a premium full flower cannabis experience.”
PAX’s first line of Era pods will include 11 different seasonal, small-batch strains. This includes classic strains like Pineapple Express, Blue Dream, and Jack Herer. Additionally, they offer ratio strains such as Lavender Haze, which is an almost equal blend of THC and CBD. They will be available in half-gram and full-gram pods.
As the creators of the top-of-the-market, cleanest and safest device out there, it only makes sense that their new pods will reflect that quality. “It was a natural extension for us to go ahead and bring that same kind of quality to the actual cannabis consumption product itself,” said Jung.
Furthermore, this product will only initially be available in California, with plans to expand later in the year. Jung notes that this form of consumption is what people are gravitating towards. “I think this is the direction that most products are going,” he says. “If you look at the data, it would actually show you that most consumers are in fact looking for this kind of delivery mechanism in the product itself.”
