September 7, RMR will be heading to Portland to team up with Passport Cannabis for a fun-filled industry night for the books. The event will take place at Vitalidad Arts & Events Center in the industrial area of Portland. If it’s anything like the 7/10 industry night RMR had the pleasure of attending—big smoke and big moves are assured.
The 7/10 industry night Passport Cannabis hosted was the first of its kind in Portland’s history. The party was decked out with everything from infused chocolates to a build-your-own-waffle bar. The people at Passport have their eyes locked on substantial business moves outside their enormous grow facility and it’s nothing to scoff at.
Passport Cannabis is a high-profile grower and influential force in the Oregon cannabis community. They received their OLCC in 2017 and had a bountiful first harvest after the extensive construction of the greenhouse on their 44-acre farm.
“Sanja Ganja” took over their Director of Sales and Marketing position over six months ago. She moved to Portland from Colorado after recruitment from Anthony Novak, their chief farming operator. Sanja has worked for the past ten years in Denver’s cannabis community. Sanja will host the event.
Sanja introduced “industry night” presented by Passport Cannabis in July and are putting on their third-party September 7th. They’ve dominated the first Friday of the month with their industry nights. As a result, they’ve united the community on both a consumer and industry worker level. Their mission is to medicate and educate one another while keeping a safe environment to network in.
Sanja highlighted her plans to take these parties to the next level. These events are building up to a 4/20-style event that Oregon’s been craving on October 5th. It will be a Halloween-themed party that will have a fashion show and vendor showcases. Their formula of live music, art, and give-a-ways has been innovating Oregon cannabis culture. They plan to keep elevating this experience to the utmost degree.
