Watch Papa Black Davinci’s New Video For “Rockstar”

Papa Black Davinci has been making huge moves, and he’s back with a new video for his song “Rockstar.” Based in Seattle, his dedication and work ethic is evident with his latest release. This is especially seen with “Rockstar,” as he covers various topics through his extensive verses.

From start to finish, Papa Black Davinci brings a large set of bars throughout. When saying, “I ain’t never wanna be a rockstar,” in the chorus, this one line is a clear definition for the meaning of the song; and because of this he proves that he’s staying true to himself. His open and raw lyrics blend well with his varying rhyme schemes and precise delivery throughout.

The video is directed by #ShotByShula for Two Seven Films, who did a masterful job with the visuals. While the settings are rather simplistic, it accurately displays the overall mood and emotion of the song which elevates everything as a whole.

Papa Black Davinci cannot be slept on and is bringing the heat with each release. Watch the video for his song “Rockstar” below.
