Mangos, Papaya’s, and Pineapple all sound like a wonderful way to start a morning. Sadly, those fruits aren’t available here in their freshest forms, but Panamango is Coastal Cannabis’s fruity Sativa strain and that is the next best thing.
A rare genetic pairing gives you a 90/10 Sativa Hybrid, this strain is left in the ground for 9 weeks instead of the traditional 8. This yields larger buds and completely cakes them in a trichome frosting.
Although this is not the most visually appealing strain, the aroma instantly reminded me of Mangos. The fruity aroma is perfect for a fine summer morning. The dark green buds are not covered in trichomes, but with the mango smell, I wasn’t worried. I found myself opening and closing the jar just to smell that aroma again.
The high from this strain was more in my head than any strain I’ve smoked recently. Caffeine? Whats that? Panamango woke me up without the adverse effects of caffeine. This potent strain was exceptionally strong and immediately felt in my head. I felt a smile come across my face as the sun snuck into my apartment. The music coming from my speakers kept me distracted as I found myself unable to keep one continuous thought for longer than a handful of seconds.
Don’t plan on smoking Panamango if you have an important paper to write, or are required to do something very specific. You won’t be able to do it, but you’ll have a damn good time doing whatever it is you end up doing.
Coastal Cannabis’s packaging provides basic information about the high the user can expect to experience. Also available is the sativa and indica split of the strain, if there is one. The jars used to hold the cannabis make the product appear more sophisticated than the plastic bags that other farms are using. If Coastal Cannabis was a beer, they would go in the craft beer section. The quality of their packaging and product sets them apart from other farms.
