The One Piece Strain By Svin Gardens Combines Anime And Cannabis

Fans of anime and cannabis alike are generating tons of hype around one of Svin Garden’s newest strains: One Piece. The folks at Dockside Cannabis in Seattle recommended this strain to us. Its delicious flavor profile is what the strain has become known for. To produce this decadent strain, Svin combined Wedding Cake with an unknown cultivar, resulting in a well-balanced hybrid strain with those sweet cake-like flavors.

Appearance

It’s only fitting that the One Piece strain would be packaged in a design that pays homage to the show. The bud comes in a glass jar, decorated with the One Piece anime font and logo. The skull and bones image overlooks a clear window for viewing the nugs.

The strain comes in the form of elongated, yet chunky nugs that are bright green in color. The thick layer of trichomes gives the hybrid a frosty appearance that seems to nod to the cursed “snow-snow” fruit in the show.

The most notable aspect of the One Piece strain’s first impression is its aroma. Cracking open the nugs releases an extremely doughy, cakey smell that clearly comes from its parent strain: Wedding Cake. The aroma contains notes of sweet vanilla with a hint of citrus.

While there is no information available about the strain’s terpenes, we do know that Wedding Cake contains a dominant presence of limonene. One of the most abundant terpenes found in cannabis is limonene. The terpene also has great potential for medicinal treatment. According to HealthLine, the terpene has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-stress, and possibly disease-preventing properties. There are a ton of classic strains that have limonene including OG Kush, Sour Diesel, and Jack Herer.

Experience

The flavor of the One Piece strain compliments its decadent aroma. The first hit of the strain gives the vanilla taste of the Wedding Cake, with a gassy aftertaste on the exhale. The flavor and parent of the One Piece strain definitely classify it as a dessert strain – a category that has been rising in popularity in recent years.

As far as effects, the hybrid is a high potency option, with this batch at about 33% THC. Users may experience a potentially heavy dose of relaxation and possible feelings of euphoria. The result is often heralded as a well-balanced experience.

The One Piece strain is a great option for users who crave a sweet flavor. As our CEO Mitch puts it, the strain is “gonna hit the spot in a major way.” In regard to its effects, One Piece is perfect for outdoor adventuring, hanging with friends, or watching the show itself.

The hybrid also has the potential to aid in the treatment of health issues like anxiety, depression, muscular pain, and chronic stress.
