The high price of Oleum’s products has always prevented me from purchasing them. I finally found one in my price range out at THC of Olympia in Lacey, WA. An indica dominant strain, Strawberry Banana Sugar Resin is a cross of Bubblegum and Banana Kush.
Sugar resin is finished with a low-temperature purge, according to the Oleum website. The flavor of the extract is also preserved this way, according to Oleum. An exceptional amount of information is provided on the back of the packaging which I found to be very helpful.
Sugar resin has an interesting texture. The crumbly texture makes it hard to collect a decently sized dab. Luckily, I have a small glass spoon for harder to collect concentrates.
When I poked some of it with my dabber, it all crumbled. Filling the room was a very strong strawberry and banana smell. This extract is a lighter color of orange, almost tan in color. Without having smoked any of the extract yet, I was already impressed.
The flavor of this product was equally as impressive as the smell. My body relaxed immediately. Focusing on one task was extremely easy, however, I felt my attention span was extremely limited.
Hunger was an issue that I did not appropriately plan for. The strawberry and banana combination had me really craving fruit. I also noticed a slight boost of energy from the sativa side of the strain. This is a great buy for someone who has a bit of experience when it comes to dabbing.
