Bacon’s Buds is a family-owned cannabis producer operating out of Washougal, Washington. They put a lot of care into creating a clean product. This includes watering their plants with natural spring water and grow plants in a pesticide-free environment. Their strain menu is always filled with unique cultivars like Grape Milkshake and the Octane Mint Sorbet strain.
Octane Mint Sorbet is a strain name that is hard to pass up. You know you’re going to get a gassy sweet experience from the name alone, but Bacon’s Buds incredible brand presentation is another selling point. Creative graphics and a bevy of personal information — Bacon’s Buds does a great job of telling their story in a small space.
This eighth is full of little buds, which don’t have the best eye appeal. However, each flower was covered in trichomes and beautiful indigo highlights. There was a sweet and gassy smell apparent from the time I opened the jar, completely fulfilling my aromatic expectations.
Octane Mint Sorbet provided a pleasant euphoric and stoney experience. The smoke was incredibly clean and the ash was grey, but the terpenes didn’t quite come through on the flavor.
While the flavor was a little lacking, I would still absolutely recommend this Bacon’s Buds product. The high was great and the aroma was enjoyable. I like supporting this brand because they obviously have an attention to detail and charge reasonable prices at $40 an eighth. Not to mention, part of the proceeds benefit Elephant conservation which I would never be mad at.
