Let’s face it, at this point, some of us may actually miss President Obama. Just because he’s out of office doesn’t mean we have to stop smoking this absolutely delicious strain called Obama Kush.
Obama Kush from Bondi Farms is a hybrid of Afgani and OG Kush. This strain brings all the best features of both strains while still maintaining a pure Indica status. Upon cracking open the jar my nose was instantly greeted with an earthy smell with hints of pine.
After closely inspecting the product I found the nugs to be extremely dense and they released an even more potent aroma when broken up to be smoked. I was pleasantly surprised at the potency of the smell from this weed. The nugs weren’t covered in trichomes or orange hairs. After inspecting the weed with both my eyes and nose, I was ready to smoke it.
When I first smelled the jar there was a very faint sweet aroma that I noticed, however, when I smoked it the sweet smell was the dominant taste of the weed. I wasn’t instantly high, it definitely crept up on me and that process was a lot slower than I expected it to be.
My mood was elevated, but I ended up being shared this Linkin Park video where he does car karaoke with Keng Jong from the Hangover series. I found myself super into the video and remembering various moments listening to Linkin Park as a teenager. The body high was absolutely phenomenal, I felt loose and relaxed all over which is a drastic change from how I felt at the haunted house in Seattle last night. This strain is perfect for a relaxing day on the couch watching college football recovering from a Friday night or unwinding after a long Monday at work.
