Texas alternative artist Novulent has expanded the final chapter of their coming of age trilogy with VOL. 3 (Deluxe), a 16-track release featuring new collaborations with ivri and ThxSoMch, along with the recently released “self destruct.” The deluxe edition builds upon VOL. 3, which originally arrived in February, while giving the 22 year old artist a few final opportunities to explore the relationships, heartbreak, healing, and self reflection that have shaped the series since VOL. 1.
Along with its expanded tracklist, VOL. 3 (Deluxe) arrives with reimagined manga inspired artwork and two collaborations that offer different conclusions to the story Novulent has spent the past several years telling.

Novulent Teams With ivri And ThxSoMch
Novulent doesn’t often do collaborations, making these two additions to VOL. 3 (Deluxe) particularly notable. On “two sides,” Novulent joins Florida artist ivri for a dark duet that gives both perspectives within the album’s central relationship room to exist. Instead of looking at the breakup entirely from one side, the collaboration explores the point where a relationship has been damaged beyond what either person can repair.
“scorched earth,” featuring Canadian post punk artist ThxSoMch, approaches the ending from a more destructive place. Driven by distorted guitars and heavier energy, the track imagines a relationship reaching the point where both sides are prepared to burn everything down with it. Together, the songs act as alternate endings to VOL. 3 while fitting into the emotional gray area that has defined Novulent’s larger trilogy.
“VOL. 3 (Deluxe) is the end of my coming-of-age story,” Novulent explained. “I’m not sad it’s over, but I’m also not happy.”

Three Projects Tell One Larger Story
The journey behind VOL. 3 (Deluxe) stretches back to 2023.
VOL. 1 was created in the aftermath of back-to-back breakups that challenged Novulent’s understanding of relationships and themselves. The project also produced “scars,” which has since earned Gold certification.
VOL. 2 followed in 2024 and shifted the perspective inward, functioning as a conversation between Novulent and their past self during the healing process.
VOL. 3 brings both sides together.
Songs including “evil eye,” “rip,” “sacrifice,” “boys lie and girls steal,” “dysphoria,” and “new low” explore love, resentment, attraction, regret, and the uncertainty that exists between them. Musically, Novulent brings those emotions into a sound that moves between shoegaze, post-punk, dream pop, and alternative rock, combining heavy distortion with softer vocals and atmospheric production.
Novulent Takes VOL. 3 Back On The Road
The deluxe release follows Novulent’s biggest U.S. headlining tour yet, but the VOL. 3 era isn’t finished onstage. Novulent will perform at LEVITATION 2026 in Austin on September 12 before returning to North America in November for a run alongside Clarion. The tour will visit Fresno, San Luis Obispo, Berkeley, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Boise, and Salt Lake City.
From there, the VOL. 3 THE FINAL ALBUM TOUR heads overseas beginning November 30, with performances scheduled throughout Europe and the UK. At 16 tracks, VOL. 3 (Deluxe) now stands as the complete conclusion to a story Novulent has spent three projects telling.
