Still looking for plans for this upcoming Labor Day weekend? If you’re in or around Chicago and are looking to rave all Labor Day weekend, North Coast Music Festival is definitely the move. Well, maybe not exactly in Chicago, but right outside in Bridgeview, Illinois. North Coast put together a stacked lineup of some of the top DJs in the world this year, as well as tons of emerging and niche DJs. The three-day festival takes place on September 3rd through 5th at Seatgeek Stadium.
Headlining the weekend is Kaskade, GRiZ, Zeds Dead, Ganja White Night, Rezz, and Louis the Child. With such a prestigious set of headliners, you’ll forget all about missing Ultra for the past two years. The headliners are just the start of it, though.

North Coast seems to be covering almost every electronic music subgenre this year, even Brostep and IDM. For those looking to groove to some house music, Chris Lake, Nora En Pure, and Claude VonStroke are definitely sets you’ll want to make it to. If house is too calm for your liking, check out dubstep sets from Diesel and HE$H. But if you’re just looking to get wonky, Liquid Stranger, CharlestheFirst, and LUZCID are the shows to be at. Of course, you’ll also find DJs within genres like drum n bass, trap, techno, and more.
You’ll be able to catch sets from electronic moguls like Green Velvet and Deadmau5. You may not notice Deadmau5’s name on the lineup, though. The Canadian DJ will be playing a special set under his alias Testpilot.
Unlike most other summer music festivals, North Coast will be taking place inside and outside. The main stage will be located inside the stadium, with a second stage located in an air-conditioned and well-ventilated soccer dome. You’ll also find two more stages outside on the soccer fields.
All VIP passes are sold out, but GA passes are still available. Three-day passes start at $248 and 1-day passes start at $88, plus taxes and fees. We suggest you act quick as many of this year’s music festivals have sold out! For more information visit North Coast’s website.
