Noochie is a rapper from the DMV area that first rose to prominence in 2016 with the release of his Bigga Rankin-hosted mixtape, Product Of The DMV. Following this, he was signed to Atlantic Records in 2017 which produced the breakout single “Gutta.” The track was praised by many mainstream hip-hop sources, including XXL, who gave a simple but fresh take on the artist’s music.
“Bangs like a trap single but it’s very positive and should be listened to closely.”

His sound has been described as raw, street-level storytelling with a gift of sound that you could imagine hearing on a sports commercial. He originally started out as an audio engineer but has been honing his lyrical abilities since the age of 13. Having rubbed elbow’s with greatness, Noochie has collaborated with the likes of Rich Homie Quan and Grammy-winner Om’mas Keith. He’s also gone on tour with Lil Uzi Vert.
Noochie is on the Move
Now, at 25 years old, Noochie is back on his independent grind. No longer with Atlantic Records, instead, he is now partnered with Scream Entertainment. Check out one of his most recent releases “Move,” released in 2021. He raps about his journey to the top and being on the ‘move’ making money, buying new things, and learning you can’t bring everyone up with you.
2022 hopes to be a big year for Noochie as the established DMV rapper has his eyes set on new goals. He’s been relatively quiet as of late. However, he has an upcoming performance on April 13th at Eaton DC. And, of course, we can always hope for new music.
But until then, check out his music video for “Move” below and let us know what you think of the rising DMV star. Further, check out our list of DC rappers to see where we first put Noochie on and to discover other DMV rappers.
