To kick things off, Burna Boy recently released his new album titled “I Told Them…”. The new record is stocked full of great tracks and “City Boys” is a standout. The song begins with a voice memo from Burna and goes into a catchy hook, some incredible vocals, and a sick instrumental beat with some great, deep bass.

Staying in the hip-hop category, Lil Yachty released a great new single this week, “TESLA”. Throughout the song, Lil Yachty continues to hone his craft with loads of clever lyrics and unique vocal effects. The beat is smooth and on point as well, so don’t miss out on this one.

“Trofeo” – Maluma & Yandel

Maluma and Yandel’s new release is in our ears as well. The song is titled “Trofeo” and it’s solely in Spanish. Both artists’ vocals are incredible and the tune includes a Latin-inspired beat with many modern 808s and sound effects.

City Girls’s new release “Face Down” has been on our minds all weekend. Lyrically and vocally, the song is full of attitude and we are here for it. Production-wise, it includes an unbelievable beat with a booming bass that makes the listener want to get up and move.

“No Amiris” – Peezy & Key Glock

Peezy and Key Glock released their most recent collaboration, “No Amiris,” recently. The song is driven by an 808 beat and some great synth arpeggios. Both rappers have their moment and both hold their own. Overall, “No Amiris” is an excellent modern hip-hop track that shouldn’t be missed.

“No Way Jose” – Yung Gravy, bbno$, and BABY GRAVY

Yung Gravy is back on our New Music Monday list this week with his new number “No Way Jose,” with appearances from bbno$ and BABY GRAVY. “No Way Jose” includes a super unique production for the genre, driven by classical guitar and some excellent trumpet parts. This jam is filled with hilarious lyrics, which is expected from Yung Gravy.

“Sidelines” – Toro y Moi

Toro y Moi also gave us a great new groove this week. “Sidelines” is one of the chiller moments on our list this week, and it is definitely refreshing. The song is driven by an acoustic guitar and brushes on the drumset. It is lyrically reflective and clearly inspired by country music.

“Ojos Azules” – Blessed, Peso Pluma & SOG

Another Latin song on our New Music Monday list for this week is “Ojos Azules” by Blessd, Peso Pluma and SOG. “Ojos Azules” is vocally beautiful and super emotive. It also includes a classic Latin beat, and it’s a rhythm worth listening to for sure.

“Blue Eyes” – Vic Mensa

Another hip-hop release that has been in our ears this week is “Blue Eyes” by Vic Mensa. This is a beautiful tune about racism and being a black man in America. Mensa raps that he used to wish he had blue eyes, but now he accepts himself. He also tells the story of his Aunt’s experience with racism. The song contains excellent rapping as well as some beautiful singing. Do yourself a favor and listen to it!

Larry June has been killing it recently and is on our list again this week with his newest: “First Class” with Trae the Truth. This is another song that includes some great rapping as well as great singing, mostly gorgeous bass singing. The production includes some great loops throughout, taking the song to the next level.

Another dope release this week is Yung Dani and Rowdy Rebel’s “No Safety”. The song is super energetic with some insane rapping and an intense cadence. The song begins with some great ad-libs from the pair, setting the tone. This tune grabs the listener and does not let go until the very last note.

“Farm to Table (feat, Vic Mensa)” – Mick Jenkins

We had to include Mick Jenkins on our list this week since he has been absolutely killing it recently. His new tune “Farm to Table” further proves his unique style and seamless rapping. The song is full of great bars, beautiful instrumental parts, and fire production.
