The intro to this trailer is straight up legendary with Dr. Dre and Ice Cube reminiscing through their old neighborhoods. This flick looks like it could potentially also have makings to becoming the dopest ‘rap flick’ of all time. I truly hope the social importance behind the group and their name is not lost in the hype for this film. America is in a time where we NEED power players to step up and people to open their eyes. I don’t want to get to political but groups like N.W.A. are so important not just to hip-hop but the culture of this country, and
Hopefully the N.W.A. Straight Outta Compton movie can be more than bad ass film but a spark of conversation within the new generation.
