Mountain Hi Concentrates is a small producer/processor operating out of the Arlington area. They grow cannabis and flip it into beautiful concentrates like this Timewreck butane hash oil. Timewreck is a unique sativa strain created by breeding Vortex with Blood Wreck, per Leafly. Mountain Hi harnessed this strain’s terpene profile for an excellent concentrate.
Mountain Hi’s packaging doesn’t stand out, but their conentrates do. Whether it’s shatter, diamonds, or wax it always looks the part. In this case, extracting the Tmewreck strain produced a shiny crumbly wax. The half-gram rock took some effort to break apart, showing its resilient sticky nature and wonderful sour pear and herbal citrus aromas.
The concentrates smell was unique and made this worthy of a selection alone. The taste that followed a pinky nail sized dab was herbal and fruity, nothing overwhelming, but exceptionally smooth and satisfying. The following high gave me a focused and mellow mindstate that was easy to work behind.
This concentrate won’t get you crazy ripped, but the mellow cerebral high would make an excellent choice for wake and bake or a weekend-long creative session avoiding the wind and the rain.
