Portland hip-hop is ablaze with Mic Capes’ “Reloaded 2.0” featuring NBA super-star Damian Lillard, aka Dame D.O.L.L.A. Capes has been buzzing since the 2021 release of his album In Spite Of.. which reached #2 on iTunes. Mix in a little bit of rap beef from the past year and Mic Capes seems to be a name that attracts attention.
His latest release, “Reloaded 2.0” has been snapping necks with its headline feature and slapping 808s. His name alone is enough to really push the needle in the local scene. But, add Dame D.O.L.L.A to the mix with Capes and you start hitting a new national stage. And just like on the court, Dame does not miss.

Capes is getting cocky with this latest drop and fans are here for it. Boasting a confidence that permeates through the mic, Mic Capes delivers a fun new energy to bump with the crew. Barking through the beat and pushing the pace like a fast break, he absolutely snaps in “Reloaded 2.0” like Jordan in Game 7.
Dame D.O.L.L.A is a cheat code. Pick him for the court or the studio and it’s butter; his game is too smooth in both aspects, he makes Shaq look like a side show. And we all know Shaq really did his thing on the mic back in the day. But Dame matches Capes’ energy on this track with ease, closing out what may be the hottest track to drop so far in Portland in 2022.
