Mendo breath is a pure Indica strain with genetics coming from the cookies family and Mendo Montage. The Tier-3 producer and processor House of Cultivar resides in downtown Seattle. I have not smoked Mendo Breath from any company before, but have heard about it’s couch-locking potency. I love Indica strains that glue me to the couch. That relaxed sensation is my favorite part about being stoned. With Christmas quickly approaching, I needed a night of relaxation.
House of Cultivar packages their grams in bags with clear windows in the middle of the packaging. My friends had given Mendo Breath a lot of hype yet I was skeptical about the quality of the weed at first. All skepticism faded the minute I opened the packaging. A potent aroma greeted my nose. Dense nugs fell into my hands coated with a light frost and hints of deep purple. The weed felt fresh. Unlike some products I’ve smoked recently, it did not fall apart in my hand.
A sweet flavor was very noticeable after just my first hit. Immediately my arms, legs, and head felt heavy. I settled back into my couch and continued hitting my bowl. I felt like I had tunnel vision, zoning in on one task. Not once did I get hit with the munchies. This would not be a strain to smoke if you were trying to destroy some Christmas cookies. I would call this a strain that could be suitable for stoners of all experience levels.
