Houston’s hip-hop scene is alive and well. OGs like Bun B and Slim Thug are still thriving while the next generation is paving their own lanes. Maxo Kream and D Flowers connect for a hot new visual for ‘Go.’
Maxo Kream’s Punken album has been on at the office frequently and apparently, we’re not the only ones. Clocking numbers online as a full body of work, Kream releases a visual to one of my favorite songs from the project. Alongside rising Houston star D Flowers, the two exchange bars flawlessly on wax. Stories of rising from the world’s toughest of situations, prosperity and hope lie in their bars although most may write off as more “gangster rap.” Houston has been getting spin in the PNW! We just featured DJ XO and Propain’s 7 Day Theory which was an incredible body of work.
