Bay Area artist Marc E. Bassy is back with a new song titled “MUSIC CHANGED ME.” Over the past few years, his career has exploded. From touring with Bay Area artists such as G-Eazy to consistently dropping music of his own, he’s constantly proving that he’s a pillar in the hip-hop game. This includes having a huge influence in the Bay Area itself as well.
From the first few moments of “MUSIC CHANGED ME”, it’s clear that this song means a lot him. While the beat and vocals mesh effortlessly together, the lyrics tend to stand out over those two things. His lyrical content is based around him reflecting on memories for when he was young, and the impact that music had on his life. An example of this includes the lines “Almost died tryna think of ways to run / Almost cried but I never shed a tear.”
While Bassy is known to be more of a singer, his delivery sits right in between rapping and singing. Because of this, he showcases a melodic based delivery that is highly rhythmical as well. Check out the new song below!
