Maika Million joins up with Reel Clip to drop a banger on the Seattle hip-hop scene – Maika’s “Non Chalant” music video. Using The Notorious B.I.G.’s track “One More Chance,” this is the second recent drop out of Seattle to use a classic hip-hop/R&B track in such a distinguishable way.
Mixing up influences, Maika takes this remix of a Biggie classic and puts a Michigan-style, BFB da Packman-type flow over it. He raps about his life situations and aspirations. With yet another banger released, he continues to prove he’s one of Seattle’s most consistent underground artists.

“Non Chalant” comes off of Maika Million’s Is It Love 2 EP. Dropped earlier in 2022, the 4-track project also holds the popular track “I Hate U 2.” This song is a bass-heavy love ballad that samples SZA’s radio hit “I Hate U.”
A Culture in the Making
Maika Million is a prime example of the steady grind and hustle we love to highlight. But alongside him on this one is the Seattle-based music video page, Reel Clip. Officially launching in 2019, the page has accumulated nearly 1 million total page views. They help to shine a light on numerous underground artists.
Leading the charge are the Manzano Bros, with directing and filming from local talent Darb. Together, they have built the page into one of the PNW’s premier drop pages for new music videos.
The two, Maika Million and Reel Clips, create an exemplary image of the untapped potential that Seattle hip-hop possesses that is just aching to be discovered by the sleeping giants of the music industry. No one “needs” the outside approval but it never hurts when you’re chasing the bag. But, Maika isn’t going to force anything. He’s just going to go about his business in a “Non Chalant” way until the right opportunity comes.
