Lola De Hanna Releases Deeply Emotional New EP Titled Welcome

Lola de Hanna is a pop-rock singer/songwriter located in New York. Born and raised in Greece, Lola came to the states to study psychology but ended up following her dream of creating and performing music.

Her first EP was titled The Other Side and dropped in 2015. It consisted of six songs that combined electronic, pop-rock and indie sounds. Her second EP Welcome, which just dropped in July, is an emotional journey that grew from the sounds of her first EP.

“My second EP is a concept album — a musical journey with themes of internal conflicts, desires, frustrations, and love. This release is the heavier, dreamier and introverted sibling of the 2015 EP.” -Lola de Hanna

Lola de Hanna’s heavy, emotional, and abstract pop music has a pleasant and worldly sound to it. Her music has a creative edge that makes you stop and think about the lyrics and the interpretations that she makes through her music. She bears resemblance to artists like Lorde, Yaarrohs, Placebo, Natalie Merchant, and Cranberries.
