Loe Badgett is a hip-hop artist from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Though it’s the state capital, it’s an area that is often overlooked in the conversation of Philadelphia and the Tri-State area. But still, through consistency, pumping out quality bangers, and building his connections, Badgett has managed to build a strong name for himself, burning down stages and dropping video after video for the past two years. A popular video of his is the 2021 release of the music video, “Extra Clips,” with Philadelphia heavyweight Dark Lo.
On March 11th, Low Badgett dropped his third official album, Facts Over Feelings, entirely produced by multi-platinum producer Aganee. It’s a 12-track project that shows the true underbelly of Pennsylvania hip-hop that a lot of us miss out on. “Extra Clips” makes it onto the album even though the track has been out for a while now; it is a stand-out and rightly deserves its place here.
Loe Badgett Puts Facts Over Feelings
His newest video premiered on January 30th as a lead-up single to the album sharing the same name. “Facts Over Feelings” is a clear message that Loe doesn’t care about what you think or how you feel, or even how he feels sometimes. In the end, he knows it’s all about the facts and nothing can change those.
Another stand-out track off of Facts Over Feelings is “Brand New” featuring talented vocalist Alonda Rich. Her soothing hook is a nice break between Loe’s more aggressive OG street style, which is something fans have come to enjoy from Loe Badgett. He always seems to be able to bring a certain type of energy that for some is clearly a show. But for Loe, it’s the complete opposite as it’s clear he’s just rapping about his life, what he knows, and how he knows it.
