Not diverting from anything his fans have come to love him for, this album is straight gas. Really picking up with the start of the second track, “All The Opps,” Hotboii raps about his opps and the “love” he has for them because without them he wouldn’t know how to shoot, even though the music they make is trash. Fans have been loving the track because it’s just Hotboii talking his shit, but he’s almost comical with it, thanking his haters while also just burying them.
Following up “All The Opps” is “I Really,” which is a total banger. I’d be remised if I didn’t bring it up just due to the fact that it’s one of the more loaded up tracks in terms of features.
Featuring 42 Dugg and Moneybagg Yo, “I Really” isn’t as “in your face” as the previous song. It’s more about seeing people switch up trying to chase the bag, and also having to get yours out the mud. “I Really” is definitely on a more motivational tip.
Hotboii is About His Business First
Kodak Black makes an appearance on the album with “Record First,” a smooth track with a nightmarish beat perfect for the Super Gremlin to slide on. With fame comes attention and people always wanting yours, all of that’s nice, but sometimes you just wanna do what you want, or got, to do. That’s what Hotboii and Kodak hit on for this track. They have all these things they wanna do and girls that want them, but they’re just “tryna record first.”
“Slanging 9 for the 9 okay, okay, okay that’s what I’m tryna do but I’m tryna record first. All these funny bitch wanna fuck don’t do no loving that’s what I’m tryna do but I’m tryna record first. Tryna get behind me got the opps finna hit him on the head with an AR like he Luigi. That’s some I gotta do, I can’t even record first.”
