Tacoma local legend Lewie connects with RedHead in ATL for the “Cope” music video. I was really feeling this record. Both these artists have great sounds and they match each other well when they connect.
As of late, Lewie has continually weaved more into “his pocket” sonically and “Cope” is no different. The cadence and melodic game is definitely mastered at this point for the artist. RedHead was carving out his spot as on of the top PNW artists in my book the last two years but the Virginia native moved south and is continuing to kill it.
“Cope” finds the artists talking about staying out grinding while dodging adversity. Amongst all the trials and tribulations life throws at you, stay the course and provide an example for the rest. Each artist is clearly living the lyrics in real life, staying on the road amongst a turbulent year for artists and making the plays needed to succeed.
Lewie x RedHead “Cope”
The catchy quick visual shot by @IAMSIDESHOW was filmed on location in Atlanta, GA while Lewie was in town working. RedHead, a recent transplant to the ATL area, spent the last few years in the Tacoma area where the artists connected on countless records. Listeners can only hope they start leaking more of these records out of the vaults.
