Tacoma’s hottest artist Lewie is back with more visual work with his latest drop “Burned Bridges.”
Lewie is an absolute hook killer and has provided verses, features, and crew releases with no shortage of talent on each release. “Burned Bridges” flows effortlessly between hooks and verse, leaving plenty of room to run back once or twice. The Tacoma artist has been on the music journey for some years. Now a veteran to his city and the region, his music has always held a commercial appeal but it continues to get better. “Burned Bridges” may be his best work yet.
No stranger to adversity and tragedy, the MKF artist has been able to channel his emotions into music in a way listeners can connect with. With the limited number of outlets in the region, Lewie has been able to harvest a supportive local fanbase that has transcended being banned from performing in Washington by the Tacoma police.
Keeping the last couple of records slightly shorter and relaying on vibing over the beat, songs like “Burned Bridges” from Lewie leave fans wanting more. Yet, the content behind these vibes provides plenty of reason to run his joints back a few times.
