Lemon Haze took over the Tacoma Dome last October to throw a huge business-to-business convention. The successful convention was paired with performances from comedy icons like Doug Benson and Donnel Rawlings. Budtenders First is another unique idea that Lemon Haze is bringing to reality.
Budtenders First will be a training and entertainment seminar aimed at elevating budtender education in Washington. This seminar includes; LCB certified training, networking party, brand booths and other budtender oriented activities.
Despite the name, the event isn’t only for budtenders, any licensed I-502 employee can attend with their work badge/credentials.
It’s no surprise to anyone who shops regularly at recreational cannabis dispensaries that not all budtenders are educated the same about the products they sell. Lemon Haze is attempting to elevate the average budtender, because they play a pivotal role in the cannabis industry as brand gatekeepers.
Sometimes when products don’t sell, it’s because budtenders aren’t pushing them, not because they aren’t quality. Budtenders tend to push the brands that they like instead of brands that best fit the customer’s needs. Many consumers trust their budtender’s recommendation, even though it might not be the experience they wanted. Lemon Haze is aiming to give budtenders the training to improve the average recommendation experience.
This hybrid event will feature an Uncanny Festival with the comedy stylings of Hannibal Burress, Jesimae Peluso, Jubal Fresh, and Jeff Dye. When you RSVP for the event you get access to a private screening of Weed The People, a new acclaimed cannabis documentary.
