With high anticipation for his upcoming show, I was able to cover Kxllswxtch for the first time. After kickstarting his ‘Walls Have Eyes’ tour at the beginning of February he finally made his way to San Diego. His high energy performance brought his fans out to the Voodoo Room located in Downtown.

The Kxllswxtch Experience
Discovering his music a few years ago, I instantly enjoyed the mix of sad/emotional along with alternative rock/rap. He complements the flow and style of other artists in his circle, like Pouya, whose music I also enjoy.

I covered opening artists Kamiyada and Savage Ga$p, who hyped up the crowd for Kxllswxtch’s set. He energized the crowd with tracks like “Cosmos” and “Black Lagoon” as soon as he hit the stage.

Recap of the Kxllswxtch Performance
There were a lot of songs that I have not heard from him that were performed during his set that showed me his range as an artist from rap to alternative rock to sad and mixing them all together. I was looking forward to his most popular song, Waste, and as soon as the hook began to play everyone in the crowd started to sing.

Covering an artist that I have not seen live before made me go in not knowing what to expect. As the show concluded he gave his thanks to his fans after a great show. If you have not been to a Kxllswxtch show I would recommend you to. A mixture of fan interaction and rager energy and passion with each song shows his passion for the music he makes.
