In what can only be described as a chaotic artistic interpretation to one of 2017 sleeper hits, Kodak Black explores and expresses another side. Whether you support, or simply listen to Kodak Black, it is hard to ignore the polarizing young rap artist. From his less than clean-cut appearance to his often unintelligible vernacular, he has captivated millions of eyes and ears by simply being honest. The track is currently sitting at #47 on the Billboard Hot 100, his highest charting position to date.
AWGE directed the clip which flashes Kodak dressed in an orange jumpsuit in a cathedral, counting money in a girl’s bedroom and appearing in court. An obvious nod to his current issues that can’t fully seem to overshadow his success. Kodak Black recently had a show in Seattle, and Respect My Region was there to cover it.
Music Video: Kodak Black – Roll In Peace (feat. XXXTentaction)
While “Roll In Peace” features XXXTentacion, don’t expect much of him in the video. He’s currently under house arrest and by the looks of it, wasn’t willing to appear in the video. He’d rather become a YouTube star by vlogging and live streaming his gameplay.
