Do you want fries with that? In an effort to continue to normalize the usage of cannabis, award-winning edible company Kiva Confections has partnered with internationally renowned burger chain Fatburger to develop a THC-infused ketchup. This revolutionary “canndiment” is coming to dispensary shelves for a limited time only to celebrate this year’s 420 holiday celebration.
Beginning April 6, participating Artist Tree and Sweet Flower dispensary locations around Los Angeles will be selling individual packets of the cannabis-infused ketchup for $5 each while supplies last. Each packet of ketchup contains 10mg of THC, making it the perfect way to take your custom made Fatburgers and fries to a higher level.
Kiva Confections on Paving the Way to Normalize Cannabis
When asked about the partnership, Kiva Confections Co-Founder, Kristi Palmer commented, “As the market leader in cannabis edibles, we’re thrilled to continue pioneering innovative, yet everyday products that pave the way for cannabis normalization.”
Kristi continued, “We can’t think of a better partner for this than our favorite West Coast burger chain. Though the partnership may seem unconventional, Fatburger and Kiva are both California-founded and beloved institutions. What better way for cannabis fans to celebrate 420 than with a delicious, elevated munchies meal – and for the cannacurious to take their first dip into cannabis one fry at a time.”

Why Fatburger Partnered with Kiva Confections to Create Cannabis-Infused Ketchup
Since 1952, Fatburger has been serving up gourmet, homemade, custom-built burgers. Over the years, they have maintained an extraordinary dedication to quality and taste that has helped them develop a fiercely loyal fanbase. Kiva Confections was founded with a similar mission in mind, to bring consistently high-quality edibles to the market that changes the way society looks at cannabis.
“Every year, we look to bring our own special flavor to the 4/20 holiday,” said Taylor Fischer, Vice President of Marketing for Fatburger. “Kiva was the perfect fit from a collaboration standpoint as they not only have an incredibly strong California fan base like Fatburger, but the quality of their edibles is unmatched in the cannabis space, similar to how we are viewed in the burger industry. Our special sauce will be sure to take the munchie game to a higher level.”

Kiva and Fatburger are both powerhouse brands coming together to create such a unique product; there’s no doubt that this cannabis-infused ketchup will sell out quickly. Hopefully, seeing collaborations like this succeed in the marketplace will help break down the barriers that are stopping cannabis from being offered to the public like alcohol is right now. For now, support Kiva Confections and Fatburger by swinging by participating dispensary locations in April to pick up their first-of-its-kind cannabis-infused ketchup packets.
