On Sunday Seven Lions announced that he would be dropping a single track with Kill The Noise, titled ‘Cold Hearted.’ As big as Seven Lions’ fan base is in the EDM world, I know that a lot of people have been excited for this one. Some of his fans have even gotten a bit rowdy with him on social media, in which Seven Lions did not hesitate to respond. Check out this exchange over facebook that took place on Sunday between the artist and one of his fans.
With that in mind, the artwork for this track fits the design. It looks reminiscent of a video game or mythical action-adventure movie, which fits the style of the track perfectly. Like so much of Seven Lions’ music, this song will send you on a journey. This is the kind of track I would listen to while playing Destiny 2, or to get that extra bit of motivation while working out.
Seven Lions x Kill The Noise – Cold Hearted
This track brought the hype with an attractive mix of melody, buildup, and powerful robotic drops that collectively sounded phenomenal. Of all the artists that Seven Lions could have chosen to work with, only Kill The Noise could have helped make this track what it was. I definitely hope to see more collaborations like this in the near future, either with KTN, or other artists. With every collaborative track, I hear something new being tested out that pushes the boundaries just a little more for both artists.
