Rappers continue to delve into the cannabis industry in the U.S. Wiz Khalifa being one of the noteable faces to join the game. In 2015 he created Khalifa Kush Enterprises (KKE) and has made a considerable impact on the legal cannabis market on the West Coast. He’s just taken it one step further by announcing a partnership with Canadian producer, Supreme Cannabis.
In an exclusive press release made public hours ago by Supreme Cannabis, the two companies have made an exclusive consulting services agreement to develop and launch a lineup of premium cannabis products. This product line will include pre-rolls, extracts, capsules, and oils to be sold by Supreme Cannabis under the KKE brand. Khalifa Kush will be working with Supreme Cannabis throughout the process to develop and commercialize the products.
Wiz comments on the idea for “Kush And Orange Juice” originating in Toronto. For that reason Canada was the prime spot for the first international expansion of his brand. Wiz spent the past year searching for the right company to partner with that shares his vision. “The team at Supreme Cannabis understands the importance of high-quality cannabis and how to produce high quality cannabis at scale,” Wiz said in the release.
The deal states that Supreme Cannabis will have a three-year exclusive period to commercialize cannabis products under the KKE brand internationally. Now Canadians will get a chance to try out their famous “Khalifa Kush” strain without crossing any borders.
