PNW Rising Features Kenshi Killzzz and More

2oopaid TK “Treat Me Like Somebody ‘2oomix'”

2oopaid TK comes in with a melodic flow about wanting to be accepted and cared about for who they are. While chemistry with someone on the surface level may be good, that’s still not good enough for the rapper. The acoustic guitar with the slow beats and bass help chill out the vibes and make this a good song to wind down to. The music video is simple being set in mainly one area, but still manages to show off some dope and colorful shots.

28AV “Hood MF”

Even though his surroundings may change, 28AV’s roots remain the same. “Hood MF” is a testament to how he’ll never forget that fact despite making moves. Remembering and honoring where we came from is how we stay grounded and humbled no matter where we end up in life. This rapper is dropping some serious truth here with some classic urban beats.

Travis Thompson & Nima Skeemz “So Good”

Travis Thompson lays out some verses and a very brave topic. The dangers of mental illness and how it can lead to self destructive and self loathing behaviors can be a hard pill to swallow for those that suffer through it. Working through that shit is never easy, but putting it into something like art is a great outlet. The urban singer does just that in a music video that shows a lot of the ebbs and flows of emotion and apathy that can come with the territory.

Boomerbabyy & Hunnitband Quel “Opp Pack”

Both these rappers work in nearly complete unison during the chorus of “Opp Pack,” and their harmony is unmatched. Boomberbabyy and Hunnitband Quel both rap some hard narratives of life on the streets and being faced with life or death experiences. The beat as well as the overall melody of the song is also catchy as hell and something to easily bop your head to.

Lewie “Considered You My Dawg”

Lewie takes it nice and slow with this next banger, but keeps the flow clean in “Considered You My Dawg.” The artist has been through a lot, but comes back stronger than before. He’s a real one, and he’s there for his people no matter what. Regardless of the adversity he’s been through, Lewie is gonna stay true to what matters.

Ahvie Dinero “Lil Realer”

Ahvie Dinero dropped this lounge style tune going on about growing through life. One thing is clear, and that is the female rapper is standing on business. She keeps her standards simple, and if you aren’t real like she is, then she doesn’t have time for you. She’s gonna keep the hustle going, and she’s gonna stay inspired.

Kenshi Killzzz “MAYA”

Kenshi Killzzz has returned with “MAYA,” and her delivery is so sensual. Her breathy flow has you hanging on to her words, and the panning also grabs your attention. This confident artist values her peace and her energy, and access to that energy isn’t for just anybody. If Kenshi Killzzz doesn’t fuck with you or your vibe, then you can just get on somewhere. This velvety hit is definitely addicting and is a whole mood.

Tha Baby “Take a Ride”

Last but not least, we got Tha Baby wrapping up PNW Rising. She delivers a dreamy track in both wordplay and instrumentals. The music video itself has cool shots throughout town and The Baby cruising. This song is great to get you through the hustle and bustle of the week.

Keep in mind, anyone you don’t see on here, you’re more than welcome to let us know by submitting their work on our Instagram! Even if it’s you, we want to highlight all of the Pacific Northwest’s talent!
