I’ve listened to a few of Kendoll’s mixes in the past and have been very pleased. Because a debut EP says a lot about an artist, I was really excited to hear her debut EP Movement.
Kendoll vibes and her music feels like a palate cleanser for the more fleshed-out songs. After a few listens, I was also very pleased with this release. Kendoll does a great job of maintaining a woozy bassline throughout the three songs as well as establishing her own “sound”.

I normally listen to the heavier side of bass music but I was invested into the EP within the first 30 seconds of the first track. It was pretty hard to pick a favorite because I really liked “Gin on Ice” just as much as “I’m Ready”. What it really comes down to was that first drop in “I’m Ready” and those first 15 seconds. I really enjoy when an artist maintains but distorts similar sounds as well as changes things up in the second drop.
I’m pretty excited to see where Kendoll is headed and am already anxiously awaiting her next project. We can only hope that this next project will be a little longer than three tracks.
