A new new wave in Seattle has spured up over the past few years. We’ve been blessed with a new generation of Seattle artists keeping our scene relevant with the ever-changing landscape of hip-hop. Today we’re dropping something from this realm, Kay2x’s project Bloutboy.
Hosted by DJ BASSKIDS, the EP finds Kay swagging over moving instrumentals. Snares, snaps, and claps mix in with raw melodic vocals on each record with the low end staying prevalent. This is something to zone out to and that ‘iPhone Plus’ record goes.
