Kanye West decides to take shots at Big Sean during a Drink Champs podcast interview that aired Thursday. Ye stated that, “the worst thing I’ve ever done was sign Big Sean.”
During the episode, Drink Champs host N.O.R.E. asked Kanye to choose between Pusha T or Big Sean and that’s when Yeezy got up with a mission. He grabs a prop tombstone and proceeds to say, “when I die, on my tombstone it’s gonna say, ‘I deserve to be here because I signed Big Sean.’”
Why did Kanye West say this?
Essentially, it boiled down to how Kanye felt about the Detroit rapper’s loyalty and support during his attempt at the 2020 presidential election. He felt that he’s someone who helped not only Big Sean’s career and life but his family’s life as well. Kanye said, “I know this man mama, bro. You know what I’m saying?” He goes on to say that Big Sean, as well as John Legend, sold out to the Democrats to attack Kanye during the 2020 elections. Furthermore, the Louis Vuitton don is still in need of apologies from them.

Then Kanye starts going for Big Sean’s music by saying he’d want his song to be a theme song if people saw him in an airport and started singing it. Then he wants you to imagine people screaming “ass, ass, ass, ass,” at you in the airport.
This all follows Big Sean’s recent departure from the G.O.O.D. Music label. So there was clearly a lot of drama built into this interview from Drink Champs. And if that wasn’t enough, the same day Kanye’s interview aired, Big Sean confirmed on Twitter that he agreed to be interviewed for the next episode of Drink Champs.
The Response by Big Sean
Tweet via @bigsean on Twitter
Big Sean claims in a Tweet that he was with Kanye before the episode aired and Ye never mentioned anything. Big Sean later responded to Kanye’s remarks about his support/selling out in 2020 with the following tweet:
“The dems? No I didn’t. I didn’t get used by anybody or endorse anyone publicly at all. Cause I’m not political. That’s what’s hilarious, none of it’s true n he doesn’t even know what he talking about…”
Big Sean fans are stepping up and defending him on Twitter. There are people talking about Kanye West owing Big Sean millions of dollars while remaining silent. It seems after the Drake beef, Kanye wants to get his gloves back on, but will Big Sean bite back? He’s got mad respect for Kanye but will we see that during his interview on Drink Champs?
