Growing up in the city of Winnipeg, in Manitoba, Canada, this unorthodox hip-hop artist drew inspiration from both the underground hip-hop and indie/folk scene that encompassed that area. This artist has been compared to Kid Cudi, Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, and Frank Ocean. Kachinga has put out two EP’s previous to this album and has also opened for Childish Gambino.
