Following the success of his latest EP “4 HER”, Justin Hale has been consistent in dropping new material at the top of 2018 which includes his latest song and visual “Automatic”. While his previous songs in 2018 have had a more relaxed trap-soul vibe with him freely singing over the beats, “Automatic” is a stark contrast from those tracks.
Producer FlyhiFerrari brings an OVO style to the instrumental which is heard in the deep 808’s and kicks – as well as the hard snare heard above. More importantly, Hale takes aim at the local talent in Seattle on how he claims that they have a habit of “freezing out new faces”. Aside from “Automatic”, Hale has dropped a number of singles on his Soundcloud at the top of 2018. While these don’t have the same hard-hitting energy as his latest release, they are an impressive contrast that shows his complexity and versatility as an artist. Check them out on Soundcloud here:
