The wildly famous West Coast cannabis brand Jungle Boys quietly entered the Florida medical marijuana market about a month ago. Starting with a soft launch on May 19th at their Florida flagship location in Ocala, Jungle Boys sold out their first batch of products by June 1st. They reopened on June 17th, offering their renowned flower, pops, pre-rolls, and live rosin jungle sticks, with concentrates set to arrive any day now.
Jungle Boys’ First Day in Florida
On their first day, Jungle Boys’ Ocala location sold 270.5 ounces of flower. This is over six times more than any other dispensary in Florida. In comparison, Trulieve, the largest operator in the state with 115 dispensaries, sold around 316 ounces at each of its locations the week of May 13-19. Per day, this is only around 45 ounces per location.

Further, Curaleaf sold around 250 ounces per location in a week, Liberty Health Sciences around 27 ounces, Müv around 148 ounces, and Surterra around 112 ounces. This breaks down to around 36 ounces per day per location at Curaleaf, 10 ounces at Liberty, 21 ounces at Müv, and 17 ounces at Surterra.
First Full Week in Florida
In Jungle Boys’ first full week, May 20-26, they sold 575.5 ounces of flower. This is almost double the amount that each Trulieve location sold in the same week (322.1 ounces), and more than double what each Curaleaf location sold (253.9 ounces). Compared to another Florida newcomer, Jungle Boys sold over 40 times more flower than each of Green Dragon’s dispensaries.
The following week, May 27th to June 2nd, Jungle Boys saw 382.6 ounces of flower sold, still surpassing every other Sunshine State cannabis company’s weekly sales per dispensary.
Jungle Boys’ sales slowed down the first couple of weeks of June as they had to temporarily close their Ocala doors to restock. But with their grand reopening this past weekend on June 17th, Jungle Boys is expected to continue the trend of outselling every other FL dispensary by a long shot.
Jungle Boys’ First Month Sales in Florida
In their first month, between May 19th and June 16th, Jungle Boys sold over 1,378 ounces of their top-shelf flower at just one location.
Aside from Trulieve, which sold around 1,628 ounces per location in the same time frame, Jungle Boys surpassed every other dispensary in Florida in its first four weeks.
