It’s the first week of January, so I’m sure you’ve seen plenty of Instagram stories, Facebook posts, and tweets about how its “all about the bag in 2019” and that its “grind mode 24/7”.
Yea, yea, yea….we know.
While some of us were talking about how this is our year, Jone$ was showing us what his 2019 is going to look like, dropping quite possibly his hardest song yet, JUMP IN MY BAG.

Accompanied by a music video featuring enough cake to hold you over until your birthday, JUMP IN MY BAG is Big Jone$ delivering hard-as-hell bars with clever rhymes schemes over a high energy trap beat. This is a song you can set PRs in the gym to.
Seriously, if Meek Mill would have popped up out of nowhere for a verse, it would of slid right in, that’s the type of ferocious delivery Jone$ brings on this one.
I spoke with Jone$ about how much I fuck with the way he was able to fit in so many clever lines into a song like this and he responded, “HADDA START OFF THE YEAR WITH BARS!!! I’M TRYNA SEPARATE MYSELF FROM THE REST!” As you can see, mans is LOADED with energy at the moment. With the way he is able to rapid fire intricate sequences together while still keeping the song bouncy and catchy, he sure is carving out a lane for himself in the city. But hey, don’t just take my word for it. Go ahead and watch the video a handful of times and see what parts stick out to you. My favorite moments in the song are:
“Had to drop the “Kid” and replace it with the “Big”, cause a n**** had to get up on his grown shit!”
“I don’t fuck with these n***** like I used to/ They like “we used to be cool”..yea used to! / I am not the same n**** that you used to / A lot shit done changed, n****, who you?”
“I won’t touch a twenty unless its a Tubman!”
Be sure to share the video with all your friends and tell them to leave all their generic ass trap music in 2018 and listen to someone who raps like he gives a damn! Keep your eyes peeled for the rest of Big Jone$’s project to drop early this year!
