“I Can’t Breathe/ Tired Tired” is a banger with a message, featuring a beat that is a big city piano-heavy vibe with East Coast influences. Papa Black ties in his experiences growing up with his life now in Seattle, creating his own wave of hip-hop. After topping the list as a finalist in the RMR #ListenUpChallenge, Papa Black released his video “Caution.” Speaking on similar issues and proving his continued support for change.
Driven by a hard bass line that you can feel deep in your core, Papa Black Davinci rides this beat with a straight forward flow and a conscious delivery that compliments Jay Loud’s melodic hook tying it all together. Papa Black actually co-manages Jay Loud so expect plenty more big moves to be made from the two.
Always able to count on these two artists to put together some fire music for the community. Continuing to spread their message and provide a voice for those who may not have as much reach is all part of pushing things in the right direction.
