Let the bass flow through you. You’re not gonna hear a song much like Concrete by Hydraulix and Jasiah, and it’s a damn good thing too. Between Jasiah’s lyrical skills and Hydraulix’s audio craftsmanship, it’s a wonder how this track hasn’t hit over a million plays already.
STREAM: HYDRAULIX – CONRETE FT. JASIAH (WAKAAN)
You can also check out Concrete on the Respect My Region EDM Fresh Drops playlist, which we have linked below. We update our playlist every week so it always has hand-picked, brand-new tracks.
Concrete is one of three singles teasing Hydraulix’s debut album Imposter Syndrome coming September 10th. You can check out the other two singles, Another Minute with Muchi and Waratah with Nitti Gritti, via the new single release as well.
Once again, this track isn’t dubstep, trap, or even drum n’ bass. The best term you can use for Hydraulix’s Concrete is Neurofunk, but it’s really a mix between this genre’s energy with trap and dubstep twinges. It’s like nothing you’ve heard before, and to make matters better, Jasiah has no chill on this track. It’s three straight minutes of trippy, energetic hype that you would have to be a fool to miss.

More About Hydraulix
A household name with a decade of EDM experience. Hydraulix is from Sydney, and plans to take over the world’s electronic scene. He’s received support from the likes of Bassnectar and Skrillex, and also performed on tour with the legendary frequency-bender Liquid Stranger.
Hydraulix has played at festivals like E-Zoo, Wobbleland, and Bass Canyon. His name is already heavily ingrained in the heads of festival attendees. That said, it will be exciting to see his full-length’s debut at long last. This DJ is sure to cause big waves in the near future, so keep an eye out.
The one thing fans of Hydraulix expect from his sets? There’s not really a word for it, because he doesn’t just make dubstep, or trap, or any one genre. The more of his music you check out, the sooner you will learn that this nameless vibe he produces will never reserve itself to one label, nor will it be mistakable for anyone else. The main consistency here is good music and meaty drums and bass.
More About Jasiah
Don’t call him a rapper, because Jasiah doesn’t consider himself one. This isn’t a Supa Hot Fire joke either, Jasiah is a producer, a songwriter and a vocalist. While he’s known for screamo-hybridized vocals, he shares more emotional and melancholy performances as well. His bars are some of the best around right now when it comes to gassing his listeners up.
Unlike Hydraulix, Jasiah broke into the mainstream with some discography released already. His 11-track project Jasiah I Am from 2019 now has almost all of its songs sitting well over a million streams. On top of this, he has been making big moves over the years, working with artists like Denzel Curry and Travis Barker. Break Shit from the 2021 release War is currently Jasiah’s most popular track, with nearly 50 million views of its own.
