Hippie Chic is Tacoma’s first boutique head-shop/smoke-shop geared towards fun, fearless females. They are putting a creative spin on what smoke shops are expected to be. Hippie Chic is spreading their brand with love and enthusiasm within their community, and to the cannabis community as a whole.
Their mission statement is to “handle life, life, and business like a boss. [Hippie Chic] is a dynamic group of women who are providing a common ground for the cannabis community.”
Hippie Chic has a discreet, yet easy-to-find location right on Pacific Ave on the waterfront in Tacoma. Founders Mama T and Mama G were both working 9-5’s, building their careers, and devoting all their free time to being dedicated mothers. After a year of soul-searching, they both decided to quit their day-jobs to pursue their passion.
This became Hippie Chic. Born from their desire to help build a community in downtown Tacoma of people seeking to find meaning in their lives. Gaining perspective on life through relationship building in the community, and bringing good business to the area.
The space itself (once inside) is a sight to behold. Such an enormous amount of event space both downstairs and upstairs. We had the pleasure of hosting a private 7/10 event with these ladies and it was a success to say the least. We featured brands such as Western Cultured, Dawg Star, Daddy Fat Sacks, Pearl 2o, Happy Apple, GLW, Northwest Cannabis Solutions, Canfinder, and ODO.
Hippie Chic is a brand that is bringing nothing but good to the downtown Tacoma area, and we have had nothing but a blast working with them. This is a dynamic duo of women looking to positively affect change in a “budding” area for business and metropolitan life. They’re doing a pretty damn good job so far.
