Durban Poison strain has been around for a few decades. The strain’s genetics are found in some of the top-selling strains in the state. Grown by The High Road in Deer Park outside of Spokane, Washington. While their strains don’t have the highest THC numbers, that shouldn’t cause you to steer away from their products.
Durban Poison is a pure sativa strain, known for providing coffee like boosts of energy. Scrolling through reviews on Leafly and AllBud revealed a large part of the people consuming this strain use it for active activities. Some people even replace their morning coffee with it.
The nugs are a sounder green color coated in trichomes giving them the appearance of dew covered grass. There is a distinct sweet and pine smell that fills the air in my apartment. Pinching the nug between my fingers revealed a dense piece of weed, imagine squeezing a grape between your fingers. After smoking my first bowl I realized why people compare this to coffee. Instantly I felt awake and motivated. The flavor stood out after each rip.
