Grape Ape – Mad Mark Farms
While the marijuana did not have the typical grape ape purple covering the entire nug, I was surprised at the dominant grape taste that my mouth was greeted with when I took my first bong rip. The grape was sweeter than a normal grape and was followed by a very faint raspberry taste as I exhaled the smoke.
The buds were covered in crystals and had a few orange hairs each, they weren’t dense, but light and fluffy with long leaves still attached. Immediately I knew that I was going to be glued to my couch and hungry by the time I finished this review. This was the first strain that I’ve started a review, killed a bowl, and immediately loaded another to continue the review. It was that good.
About thirty minutes after my first hit, I found myself paranoid about my timer for dinner not going off. It could have been the food that was cooking in my oven or being really stoned, but the munchies eventually showed up and they hit hard. I was also super relaxed and pain-free.
Grape Ape from Mad Mark Farms is a perfect example of why you shouldn’t base your purchase off of THC numbers and other statistics on the packaging.
