The Sound in San Diego was buzzing with anticipation on September 28th as fans gathered for a night of unforgettable music with Goth Babe. Before the main act took the stage, the audience was treated to an electrifying performance by The Aces. The indie-pop band’s energetic set was filled with catchy hooks, infectious beats, and feel-good vibes that instantly charged the atmosphere. Their chemistry on stage and powerful vocals had the crowd dancing and cheering, perfectly setting the tone for what was to come.
When Goth Babe finally emerged, the venue erupted with excitement. Known for his dreamy blend of indie electronica and vibrant live shows, Goth Babe delivered a set that exceeded expectations. From the very first song, the energy in the room was palpable, with electric vibes flowing between the artist and the crowd. With plenty of fan interactions, colorful visuals, and infectious beats, Goth Babe transformed the night into a lively, unforgettable experience that had the entire venue moving to the rhythm.

The Goth Babe Experience
This was my second time photographing Goth Babe, and the experience was even better than last year’s. His unique blend of indie, electronic, and chill wave sounds continues to evolve, and it was clear from the moment he opened with “Spinnaker Days” that the crowd was in for something special. The energy in the venue was electric, and Goth Babe’s passion was visible in every movement as he bounced across the stage, fully immersed in the music. His live performances always bring a contagious energy that keeps the crowd moving right along with him.
Goth Babe’s setlist was packed with fan favorites like “Canary Islands,” “Bioluminescence,” and more, showcasing his signature style of laid-back yet upbeat tunes that make you feel like you’re catching the perfect summer wave. Throughout the night, he kept the audience engaged, not just with his music but with a series of fun moments. At one point, he did a hilarious giveaway of an 8-foot-tall cardboard cutout of a bear, and later, had a fan crowd-surfed on an inflatable pool float while beach balls bounced around the venue.
The night ended with an epic grand finale as confetti showered down on the fans, marking the perfect conclusion to an amazing concert. For both the fans and myself, it was an unforgettable experience. Goth Babe’s music has a universal appeal, making it easy for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re a long-time fan or just discovering his sound for the first time.

My Thoughts On Goth Babe
I was introduced to Goth Babe’s music the first time I covered his show, and since then, I’ve had the chance to dive deeper into his discography. His live performances capture the same energy and quality I experience when listening through headphones—he brings that vibrancy to life on stage. For anyone who hasn’t seen him live, I highly recommend it. There’s always something special about his shows in San Diego, where he once lived, and the connection he forms with the crowd feels more intimate and personal. Goth Babe is a great artist with music that resonates both live and in the studio.
