Ibiza may be approaching the later stretch of its 2026 season, but GORDO is giving the island another reason to keep going. The Grammy nominated DJ and producer officially launched his six week TARAKA residency at Pacha Ibiza on Tuesday, August 25, kicking off a run that will bring some of house and techno’s biggest names to the legendary club through the end of September.
The opening night packed Pacha Ibiza from doors to close as GORDO was joined by Vanjee, Wade, Gustavo Domínguez, and Gala. For GORDO, the residency brings his TARAKA concept to one of electronic music’s most recognizable venues for six consecutive Tuesdays, with each week featuring a different collection of artists leading into the September 29 closing party.
GORDO Brings TARAKA To Pacha Ibiza
Opening night gave fans an immediate look at what to expect from TARAKA over the coming weeks. GORDO moved through his signature combination of bass heavy house and tech throughout his set, mixing his own material into a night built around the underground leaning sound that has become synonymous with TARAKA.
Recent tracks including “Hombres y Mujeres” and “Sideways” have continued expanding his catalog, while his production work outside electronic music has kept him connected to some of the biggest names in hip hop and Latin music. That includes his longstanding creative relationship with Drake.
After contributing to Honestly, Nevermind, including the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 single “Sticky,” GORDO returned as a key producer for Drake’s 2026 album Maid of Honor, contributing production across nine tracks. His work has allowed him to occupy an unusual position within modern electronic music, moving between underground club culture and major mainstream releases without completely settling into either world.
TARAKA gives him a place to bring that club focused side to the forefront.
Nicole Moudaber Joins GORDO For Week Two
Following the successful opening night, TARAKA returns to Pacha Ibiza on Tuesday, September 1 with another strong lineup. GORDO will be joined by Nicole Moudaber, Sacchi, Harvy Valencia, and Tony Guerra.
From there, each Tuesday introduces a different group of artists spanning house and techno. Shimza, Alex Wann, ARODES, Manda Moor, and Gala arrive September 8 before one of the residency’s biggest lineups takes over September 15.
That night will feature GORDO alongside Vintage Culture, Patrick Topping, Sacchi, and JØRD. HoneyLuv and Vanjee join GORDO and Gala on September 22 before the residency concludes one week later.

TARAKA Has Become A Global Extension Of GORDO
The Ibiza residency represents another step forward for an event concept GORDO has steadily developed around the world. TARAKA has become an extension of his musical identity, creating events built around the deeper house and techno sounds that have remained central to the GORDO project. That project itself represented a significant reinvention.
Previously known as Carnage, the Nicaraguan American producer stepped away from the name and introduced GORDO as a new creative chapter. The transition allowed him to move further into house and techno while incorporating his Latin roots and continuing to work across hip hop and mainstream music.
His versatility has since led to collaborations with artists including Drake, Feid, Maluma, T Pain, Tiësto, Eladio Carrión, Bad Gyal, and Leon Bridges. He also earned a Grammy nomination for his production work on Diplo’s self titled album and previously reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Producers chart.
In 2024, GORDO released his debut album DIAMANTAE, a project that brought together the different influences behind his musical identity. He followed it with the NO HAY VERANO SIN GORDO EP, continuing to connect electronic music with Latin culture.
GORDO And Pacha Ibiza Launch Limited TARAKA Collaboration
The residency is also extending beyond the dance floor. GORDO and Pacha Ibiza have teamed up for a limited edition TARAKA collaborative T shirt available exclusively through The Pacha Collection. The shirt is available at Pacha stores throughout Ibiza and Formentera as well as through Pacha’s online shop.
The collaboration gives fans another piece of the residency to take home while connecting TARAKA with one of Ibiza’s most recognizable nightlife brands.
Six Weeks Of TARAKA Are Underway
Pacha Ibiza has spent more than five decades at the center of the island’s nightlife culture, and its residency calendar continues to bring together some of electronic music’s biggest artists. GORDO now gets six weeks to make his own mark on that history. Opening night showed there is already an audience ready for it. With Nicole Moudaber, Shimza, Vintage Culture, Patrick Topping, HoneyLuv, Roger Sanchez, and several more artists still scheduled to appear, TARAKA has plenty left before the season reaches its conclusion.
The residency runs every Tuesday through September 29, giving GORDO five more opportunities to build on an opening night that packed Pacha Ibiza from beginning to end. For an artist whose career has increasingly moved between global stages, major studio collaborations, and underground club culture, TARAKA provides a fitting home for the latter. Ibiza now gets the full experience every Tuesday until the end of September.
